Hometown Ambassador

 

 The Hometown Ambassador program at the Saint Charles Convention Center was introduced in August 2009 as a way to stimulate the local economy of St. Charles, as well as to educate the local community about the role meetings and events play in the local economy. Working in tandem with the St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau, Global Spectrum is reaching out to members of the local community to tell us about events or meetings that they participate in. By bringing these events to the Saint Charles Convention Center, you are in turn stimulating the tourism business in the area.


Become an Ambassador

So, what organizations, groups, or associations are you a part of? Do you have annual meetings or events that could come to St. Charles? If so, let the staff here at the Convention Center know about it and we'll do the rest. You don't have to be the planner for the event, but if you know someone who is, let us know that as well. If your organization ends up meeting at the Saint Charles Convention Center, then you are entered in to win a "Be a Tourist in Your Own Town" Weekend Getaway Vacation Package.
