Event Services Coordinator

The Event Services Coordinator coordinates client use of the St. Charles Convention Center. This position serves as a liaison between the Event Services department and other departments such as Operations, Food & Beverage, and Finance. The Event Services Coordinator supports online ordering of event utilities, equipment and technical services, food and beverage, and guest services staff oversight. This position will serve as lead event contact for selected convention center events.

  • Process and track all Exhibitor Services orders using Microsoft Office and Ungerboeck Software.
  • Work closely with Event Manager to coordinate event services.
  • Coordinate and maintain the daily operations of Exhibitor Services.
  • Responsible for accurately processing all service orders, credit cards and other payment formats.
  • Coordinate and customize Exhibitor Packets for required service forms.
  • Provide show site support, audit show floor utility use, and work the service desk during event, move-in, and move-out.
  • Enter exhibitor reports and show feedback at the conclusion of the event.
  • Plan, service, and manage the use of utilities, equipment and other exhibitor services.
  • Fill Guest Services part-time staffing schedule requests and input into timeclock as needed for events.
  • Serve as event lead Event Manager for specific events.
  • Participate in internally created events and committees.
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to exhibitors, guests, and internal clients.
