ST. CHARLES, MO – The Kids Block Party returns for a second year to the Saint Charles Convention Center on Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Global Spectrum, operator of the Center, expects over 2,000 attendees. The Kids Block Party is a free event and is open to the public.
“We are proud to offer a free and exciting event for the citizens of St. Charles County to enjoy,” said Shura Lindgren, Global Spectrum’s General Manager of the Saint Charles Convention Center. “Giving back to the community is a very important component for us at the Convention Center.”
With a mission to promote healthy and active lifestyles for children, the Kids Block Party will offer a range of fun and exciting activities, including relay races, bounce houses, cardio kickboxing, and live Radio Disney entertainment. The Convention Center will be transformed into a large playground where families will be able to have an enjoyable day together. Children and families will also have the opportunity to meet local sports mascots, create arts and crafts, and learn about the Kid Safe Network and its benefits.
“Not only are we excited to host this event for a second year, but local businesses are also supporting the event through donations and giveaways,” added Lindgren. “We feel that everyone in attendance will benefit from this event”.
